What is Stay Review and how does it work?
Stay Review is a web based service for Hotel, Bed and Breakfast or Self Catering establishment owners to gather and manage customer reviews. By listing an establishment with Stay Review, accommodation owners have the ability to request, receive and respond to customer reviews all from within the dashboard.

The importance of sharing customer reviews with potential visitors is crucial in establishing trust. Stay Review provides an independent online platform where owners can manage customer reviews and build credibility.

Are there any charges for using Stay Review?
- No, most of our services are for Free and we do not charge commission for booking enquiries. We do offer a business listing for establishment owners that seek to benefit from additional features. Some of the features include:

- The promotion of your establishment in the search results.
- Your website address & telephone number.

How do you distinguish between listings that have positive reviews and ones that have bad reviews?
We rank our search results based on the quality of the reviews each establishment receives. The more positive the reviews and the greater the number of reviews, the higher an establishment will appear in the search results for a particular area.

What if my accommodation listing receives a negative review?
We allow all accommodation owners to reply to reviews that they have received, irrespective of whether they have a free or paid for Stay Review account. Complete transparency is a founding philosophy that is core to the success of Stay Review.com. * Should an owner not be happy with sharing their reviews publicly, they can at any point elect to hide all reviews and only use the information for internal purposes. We do not allow selective review displaying or hiding. Owners must either display all or no reviews. * Hiding of all reviews is available to business listings only.

How can I upgrade to a Business Listing?
Login to your Stay Review account and select the 'Upgrade Account' option that appears in the navigation on the left-hand side of the page.

What is your policy regarding fake or fraudulent reviews?
We have tracking software that enables us to determine the authenticity of reviews. Should any establishment owner be found adding fraudulent reviews, their listing will immediately be deleted from the website.

How do you make money if you do not charge commission?
We offer a business listing with a host of additional features and benefits such as:

- A professional photo gallery for up to 16 photos.
- Detailed information.
- Inclusion of your website address.
- A premium member logo for your website.
- More control over your reviews.
- And more.


I have completed the listing process but I cannot find my listing in your directory?
Once you have completed step 3 of the listing process, we automatically send you a verification email to confirm your email address and to activate your listing. Your listing will only appear in our search results once you have clicked on the link in the email that was sent to you.

I have not received a verification email to active my listing?
Please login to the Stay Review website to confirm that your listing has not been activated. If the listing has not been activated you should see a yellow notification on your dashboard stating "listing not verified". Follow the steps from the dashboard to resend the email.

I provided the wrong email address when I started the listing process and cannot activate my listing. How can I fix this?
If you remember the email address and password that you entered, you can use this to login to your dashboard. Once logged in, select the Account Setting tab on the left, enter the correct email address and select the "Resend Verification Email" button.

I cannot upload a photo to my listing. What am I doing wrong?
At present we only accept landscape photos; the photo must be wider that it is tall. Photos must be a minimum of 400 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall. You can upload photos that are larger than this, as long as they are still wider than they are tall. We have made this restriction to ensure a level of uniformity across all listings. If you feel that you have met the above requirements but are still not able to upload a photo, there may be a few other points to consider.

- When you upload a photo, please ensure that after you have selected it from your computer and have selected open, you wait until the photo appears on the page before you go to the next step or navigate away from the page. In certain instances it may take longer to upload a photo based on your internet speed or the size of the photo that you are uploading.
